USA College Curling is pleased to announce that the Midland Curling Club in Midland, MI, will host the 2025 College National Championship, and the Schenectady Curling Club in Schenectady, NY, will host the event in 2026.
Midland, a club with a history of successful youth curling development, will welcome college curlers from across the country this coming season, before Schenectady brings the event to the East Coast in 2026.
The College Nationals are a collaboration between USA College Curling and USA Curling. The College Committee works with Student Representatives from across the country to develop and implement the qualification process, and with USA Curling to secure championship sites and deliver a quality Nationals.
“The USA College Curling committee and college curlers are thrilled that Midland Curling Club (2025) and Schenectady Curling Club (2026) is hosting USA College Curling Nationals, ” noted Nancy Myers, Chair of the USA College Curling Committee. “We look forward to awesome competition at both venues.”
In 2025, the College Nationals in Midland will run from March 7th through the 9th. In 2026, when the Schenectady Curling Club hosts, the event will run from March 13th through the 15th.
“Close to 80% of the curlers in the qualifying events have never curled before starting college,” add USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “We’re excited to work with USA College Curling to help bring more young adults into a sport they can enjoy for the rest of their lives, and grateful to these two Member Clubs for hosting this national championship.”
Like the Five-and-Under Nationals, college curlers compete in qualifying events to earn a berth in the championships. More information related to registration and the qualifying events will be available in the weeks ahead from both USA College Curling and USA Curling.
